Westwood iTECH report card pick up will be tomorrow, October 21 in the car rider line from 9 am-1 pm. Report cards will be sent home with those iTECH students who have returned to face to face instruction. Thank you and stay safe.
Due to changes related to Covid this year Abbeville Heath department will be offering flu clinics for school age children at the Abbeville Health Department office. The dates are October 26th and October 27th from 9 am to 5:30 pm. Flu shots will be given by a drive thru process in the health department parking lot.
Westwood iTECH parents, this is a reminder that iTECH Return to School surveys are due this Friday, October 2, 2020. If you did not receive the survey and you want your child to return face to face on October 20, please call the school by this Friday. Thank you and hope you are all staying safe.

Covid Clinic Calendar
Attention parents: due to social distancing guidelines and bus capacity, the shuttle bus will only be available for district employees this year. Students will need to be picked up in the car rider line or ride the bus to their house.

Parents, due to the recent announcement by State Superintendent Molly Spearman of masks now being required in every public school building, the ACSD iTECH Academy registration deadline has been extended until Monday, August 3, at midnight.
Parents wishing to make any changes to an already submitted registration, please contact your child’s school by Monday afternoon.
Any parent in need of Internet services at home for a child enrolled in the iTECH Academy, please contact your child’s school to see if you qualify for free Internet services, provided by Abbeville County School District.
Westwood Student Supply Lists
Student registration will be open at Westwood Elementary Tuesday, July 28th. Due to social distancing guidelines, we encourage all parents to please register their students online; however we are here to help if you need to register in person. If you need to come to the school to register, please come at the following times. Students with last names beginning with A-G may come 8:30am-10:30am. Students with last names beginning with H-N may come 10:30am-12:30pm. Students with last names beginning with O-Z may come 12:30 pm-2:30 pm. Once again we ask that if you need to come register your child in person, please follow all social distancing guidelines. Student supply lists will be available on our school website and Facebook page. Those times again are A-G 8:30am-10:30am, H-N 10:30am-12:30pm, and O-Z 12:30pm-2:30pm. Thank you and have a great week.
Parents, if you have a rising 5K student who did not attend one of our 4K programs last year OR a child
who is new to our district, please go by the school on Tuesday, July 28th, between 8:30 and 3:00 to
complete the new student registration packet.
Parents, if you need assistance completing the online registration form for your returning ACSD student,
you may go by the child’s school on Tuesday, July 28th, between 8:30 and 3:00. Computers will be
available for use, and a staff member can assist with questions you may have.
The online registration portal for returning students is now open. You should be receiving another email with your snapcode information soon. If you completed registration when we originally launched it on June 16th, you will not need to re-register.
Parents are reminded that intra-district transfer requests are due on or before August 1, 2020.

On Monday, June 8, report cards for Westwood Elementary School students will be available for pick from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. Please make sure to have your child’s name and homeroom teacher ready when coming through the line. We look forward to seeing you then. Have a great summer break!
Reminder: today is the drop off for the last packet. Teachers will also have any student items that was left in the classrooms. Please stop by and bring all your child’s work. We will be here at Westwood until 5:30 pm.
The last packet drop off will be tomorrow, May 26th from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm in the car rider line at Westwood. Please bring all items that belong to the school such as textbooks, library books, etc. when you drop your child’s packet off. Please be patient while in line and do not pass or go around the cars in front of you. This is for your safety as well as the safety of our staff. Report cards will be available for pick-up on June 8th. Times will be announced at a later date. If you would like your child’s report card mailed, please bring a self addressed, stamped envelope on the 26th and we will be glad to mail it to you.
