CTE 6th and 7th grade students had the opportunity to visit the Barrier Island Environmental Education Program earlier in March! During this marine science field trip, students had the unique opportunity to experience nature in a hands-on and exciting way! Some of the activities they experienced included: a two-hour discovery walk on the beach, classes about the South Carolina state reptile, the Loggerhead Sea Turtle, a herpetology class where students learned about various reptiles and saw them up close, and several other fun and educational activities.
