Work-Based Learning

Provides students with the knowledge and skills to connect school experiences to work activities or the workplace setting and future career opportunities.

Students apply their knowledge and skills to real life, real work, and real world situations, both predictable and unpredictable.

These Work-Based Learning opportunities can be done in conjunction with private, public, for-profit, or nonprofit businesses in your community and/or through web-based resources. In addition, work-based learning requires in-depth engagement of youth and an evaluation of acquired work relevant skills.
